Tony Bartosiewicz, reported to Gregory
"Gregory Cuvelier has managed the Engineering department at Dynalec where I’ve been a Senior Design Engineer for the past 21 years. The qualities that Greg has embodied as a project manager, supervisor, friend, and colleague are numerous to say the least. First of all, Greg has an extremely easy-going attitude. While managing to be cognizant of various customer demands, overseeing multiple design activities, and juggling various overlapping project schedules, Greg maintains a calm-and-collected demeanor that really sets the tone for the work environment and is more than inspirational to those working for him. Secondly, I was able to witness first-hand Greg’s incredible transformation of an entire engineering department philosophy. Early in my career at Dynalec, the engineering department consisted primarily of veteran engineers who strongly espoused a conservative, autonomous development ideology. It was not uncommon for shipped products to be the culmination of work exclusively from 1 or 2 engineers. It was Greg’s relentless pursuit of a team, spanning a cross-section of backgrounds, disciplines, and experience levels, which has made the engineering department the collaboration that it is today. Last but certainly not least, Greg has always strongly encouraged communication within the team. This has included the oft-referenced “open door policy” which, in his case, is exactly that. His willingness to not only listen to any question or concern regarding any topic, but to take whatever action possible to alleviate that concern is truly a testament to his dedication to his colleagues. I truly believe that Greg’s extensive experience in the engineering environment, in addition to these attributes, would make him a tremendous asset to any organizational team."
